How it works
- Choose an image.
- Type the width or height in pixels, or tap 25%, 50% or 75%. Keep aspect ratio on to avoid stretching.
- Download the resized image. PNG and WebP stay in their format; other images save as JPG.
FAQ
- How do I resize without stretching the photo?
- Keep “Keep aspect ratio” on. Type the width and the height follows automatically (or the other way round).
- How do I resize a photo to 2x2?
- 2x2 is a print size, 600 × 600 pixels at 300 dpi. Use the 2x2 Picture Maker instead: it crops your face to the right square and makes a print layout.
- Does resizing reduce the file size?
- Making the picture smaller in pixels also makes the file smaller. To hit an exact size in KB, use the image compressor.
- Are my images uploaded?
- No. Everything runs in your browser, so your images never leave your phone or computer.
- Can I use iPhone photos (HEIC)?
- Yes. HEIC photos open in any browser here. The first one takes a few extra seconds while the HEIC decoder loads.
