Privacy: what happens to your photos

Which tools run in your browser, what is sent to our server for AI edits, what we keep and for how long.

Tools that never upload your photo

Cropping to an ID size, print sheets, HEIC/JPG/PNG/WebP conversion, resizing, compressing, JPG to PDF and collages run entirely in your browser. The photo you choose is kept in your browser's own storage for 24 hours so you can move between tools, then removed.

White background and background remover

The photo is sent to our server and on to our image-processing provider (Cloudflare) to remove the background. It is processed in memory and not stored.

Formal attire

The photo is sent through our server to an AI image provider to make the edit. The result is kept on our server for 2 hours so you can download it, then deleted.

Payments and purchases

Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see your card or wallet details. We keep the product, amount and an anonymous purchase key so My purchases works without an account. You don't sign up.

Abuse limits

To stop abuse of the free previews, we keep a salted one-way hash of your IP address, not the address itself.
