Why red or blue?
In Indonesia, schools, universities, job applications and some government forms ask for a pas foto with a red (merah) or blue (biru) background, usually in 3x4 and 4x6 cm. Other countries mostly ask for white or light grey.

FAQ
- Which colour should I choose?
- The one your form asks for. If it doesn't say, ask the school or office before you print.
- Does changing the background edit my face?
- No. Only the background pixels are replaced; the person in the photo is kept as-is.
- Is my photo uploaded?
- Only for the new background. Cropping happens on your phone; the cropped picture is sent to our server to remove the background, processed in memory and not stored.
- How much does it cost?
- The preview is free. The HD picture without watermark is $1.49, or $2.49 for a 24-hour pass that covers any size and any photo. You pay in your local currency, by card or a local method such as GCash in the Philippines.
- Will my school, employer or agency accept an edited picture?
- Rules differ. Some (like the CSC exam and the PDS) require an unedited photo. Check the requirements page for your agency before printing.
